The goal of HCOP is to identify, recruit, and assist individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to undertake education in a health profession field. The HCOP program works to build diversity in the health fields by providing students from disadvantaged backgrounds an opportunity to develop the skills needed to successfully enter, compete, and graduate from health professional schools.

HCOP works with students in grades 7 through college sophomores from Four Winds, Warwick, Devils Lake, and Cankdeska Cikana Community College.
