Student Support Services is a federal grant tasked with providing mentoring services to students who apply and are accepted into the program, and who fall into one of the following categories:
The range of service includes academic tutoring or small group instruction for math, science, English, writing skills, and career development. Other services include academic advising, problem solving for support services, resources and referrals, workshops on topics of interest, assistance with graduation or transfer requirements, field trips to other institutions, peer tutoring, and activities that assist in professional and personal development.
