Wakanheza oti (Sacred Children's Place)
Providing a safe, culturally relevantearly childhood experience
Wakanheza oti, located on the campus of Cankdeska Cikana Community College, provides childcare for up to 70 student and community members. The center also functions as a training facility for CCCC students who are enrolled in the Early Childhood Discipline. CCCC students will receive Early Childhood credit for participation in this experiential and service learning opportunity while providing care to toddlers and infants from the surrounding community.

Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

| Before/After School Care (6-8 years old) | $2.50 per hour |

Subsidy coverage of Fees
The child care center will accept subsidy payments to cover eligible children's weekly fees. Each family is responsible to bring in a Certificate of Payment letter from the subsidy agency. The letter must state the percentage of subsidy that the agency will pay for child care and it must be received by the child care center.
