CCCC is chartered by the Spirit Lake Dakota Nation, with a five member Board of Regents appointed by the Spirit Lake Tribal Council to serve three-year terms. The Board of Regents is empowered via the Charter, to grant degrees to qualified applicants upon the completion of the Board approved curriculum in compliance with HLC. The Board of Regents formulates and implements administrative policies and procedures for the operation of the institution. All of our current board are CCCC graduates with three that have received their bachelors degree.

Cankdeska Cikana Community College (CCCC) reserves the right to change any of the rules and regulations of the College at any time, including those relating to admission, instruction, curricula, and academic guidelines. CCCC reserves the right to add or withdraw curricula and specific courses, alter course content, change the calendar, and to impose or increase fees. All such changes are effective at such times as the proper authorities determine and may apply to prospective and current students. This catalog is prepared by faculty committees and/or administrative officers for the purpose of furnishing prospective students and other interested persons with institutional information. Announcements contained in printed materials are subject to change without notice, and may not be regarded in the nature of binding obligations on the institution. Publications are prepared in advance and changes are necessary during the academic year. The CCCC website should be visited for the most up to date information.
